Результати DigiFLEd Study Visit 27.05 – 31.05.2024 (Maynooth, Ireland)

Команда проєкту DigiFLEd від Донецького національного університету імені Василя Стуса у складі менеджера Ольги Одінцової й виконавців Наталі Стрюк та Ірини Гарбери успішно завершили тижневий тренінг (27-31 травня 2024 року) у межах DigiFLEd Study Visit (Maynooth, Ireland), набувши надзвичайно корисних навичок та спеціальних компетентностей, необхідних для подальшої розробки освітніх курсів у межах проєкту.

Так, 27 травня 2024 року (понеділок) учасниці проєкту від ДонНУ імені Василя Стуса заслухали Welcoming Remarks від Dean of Teaching & Learning, Dr. Susi Gottloeber та Prof. Joseph Coughlan, Head, School of Business; здійснили ознайомчий тур по кампусу; взяли участь у Welcome & Icebreaker Activities та вступній лекції Maynooth University Moodle Orientation Essentials.

28 травня 2024 року (вівторок) наша команда відвідала ряд корисних лекцій і воркшопів, присвячених розвитку навичок ефективного використання платформи Moodle: Moodle Course Page Design Essentials, Moodle Course Page Design Essentials, Gamification Essentials in Moodle.

День 29 травня 2024 року (середа) був присвячений найсучаснішим теоретико-методологійним і практичним засадам онлайн-навчання й викладання Foundations Effective Online Teaching and Learning та Writing Enriched Curriculum (WEC) – Embedding Writing in Online Courses від Dr. Alison Farrell, Centre for Teaching and Learning.

День 31 травня 2024 року – заключний – виявився дійсно насиченим і цікавим: О. Одінцова, Н. Стрюк та І. Гарбера взяли участь у кількох воркшопах на різноманітні теми, пов’язані з формуванням практичних навичок для ефективного викладання / навчання філології загалом та іноземних мов зокрема: Introduction to Open Educational Resources (OER) від Helen Farrell, Maynooth University Library; лектори від Maynooth University Centre for Irish Language Research, Teaching and Testing Ailin Ni Conchuir з виступом на тему Certificate in Teaching Irish to Irish Adults – Exploring how digital tools are used to support T&L та Dr. Aoife Ni Ghloinn з виступом Using social media to support the teaching of Grammar GenZ; а також Digital Transformation in Higher Education від Michael Hanley (IVI); а також насолодилися Russell Library Campus Tour.

Отже, програма в межах тижневого перебування в Мейнуті (Ірландія) DigiFLEd Study Visit 27.05 – 31.05.2024 була корисною, насиченою та такою, що відкриває дійсно великі перспективи й можливості у справі розробки якісно нових і сучасних освітніх курсів у межах нашого проєкту DigiFLEd.

Results of DigiFLEd Study Visit 27.05 – 31.05.2024 (Maynooth, Ireland)

The DigiFLEd project team from Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University, consisting of manager Olga Odintsova and participants Natali Striuk and Iryna Harbera, successfully completed a week-long training (May 27-31, 2024) within the DigiFLEd Study Visit (Maynooth, Ireland), acquiring extremely useful skills and special competencies necessary for further development of educational courses within the project.

On May 27, 2024 (Monday), project participants from Vasyl Stus DonNU attended Welcoming Remarks from Dean of Teaching & Learning, Dr. Susi Gottloeber and Prof. Joseph Coughlan, Head, School of Business; took an introductory campus tour; participated in Welcome & Icebreaker Activities and an introductory lecture Maynooth University Moodle Orientation Essentials.

On May 28, 2024 (Tuesday), our team attended a series of useful lectures and workshops dedicated to developing skills for effective use of the Moodle platform: Moodle Course Page Design Essentials, Moodle Course Page Design Essentials, Gamification Essentials in Moodle.

May 29, 2024 (Wednesday) was dedicated to the most modern theoretical-methodological and practical foundations of online teaching and learning Foundations Effective Online Teaching and Learning and Writing Enriched Curriculum (WEC) – Embedding Writing in Online Courses by Dr. Alison Farrell, Centre for Teaching and Learning.

May 31, 2024 – the final day – proved to be truly intensive and interesting: O. Odintsova, N. Striuk and I. Harbera participated in several workshops on various topics related to developing practical skills for effective teaching/learning of philology in general and foreign languages in particular: Introduction to Open Educational Resources (OER) by Helen Farrell, Maynooth University Library; lecturers from Maynooth University Centre for Irish Language Research, Teaching and Testing Ailin Ni Conchuir with a presentation on Certificate in Teaching Irish to Irish Adults – Exploring how digital tools are used to support T&L and Dr. Aoife Ni Ghloinn with a presentation Using social media to support the teaching of Grammar GenZ; as well as Digital Transformation in Higher Education by Michael Hanley (IVI); and also enjoyed the Russell Library Campus Tour.

Therefore, the program within the week-long stay in Maynooth (Ireland) DigiFLEd Study Visit 27.05 – 31.05.2024 was useful, intensive, and one that opens truly great prospects and opportunities in developing qualitatively new and modern educational courses within our DigiFLEd project.
